9:57 a.m. Wednesday — Harold Burdick allegedly violated a protection from abuse order at the Cratty Lane home of a 41-year-old woman in Allegheny Township.
Wednesday — Nikolas A. Gaillot, 36, and his girlfriend, Sally M. Dillaman, 28, both of Butler were charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, stemming from their arrests March 17 at the Super 8 motel on Route 8 south.The couple was wanted on arrest warrants in connection with a Butler County Drug Task Force drug sweep of suspected narcotics traffickers when county sheriff's deputies nabbed them at the motel.Police later searched the motel room and turned up suspected Suboxone and other drug contraband, leading to the latest charges against Gaillot and Dillaman.5:01 p.m. March 15 — A 12 year-old Butler boy allegedly exposed himself to a 6-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl in the 100 block of Old Plank Road. Police said the suspect also “engaged in some other inappropriate behavior” during the incident.The boy, who police did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.11:30 p.m. Tuesday — Erin McCrosky, 21, of Butler lost control of her car and traveled into a front yard of a home in the 400 block of South Eberhart Road. Police said she was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
Wednesday — Police charged Kenneth R. Schaeffer, 51, of Kittanning with bouncing a check in the amount of $4,011.68 at a lumber yard in Rural Valley earlier this year.Schaeffer wrote the check on an account with insufficient funds, and passed it Jan. 16 at the 85 Building Center. He is charged with bad checks.8:03 a.m. March 20 — Rebecca A. Drapola, 23, of West Middlesex was hurt when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle on ice and rear-ended a school bus on Route 318 at Orchard Road in Lackawannock Township.Drapola, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries. She was treated at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio.The bus driver, Peggy A. Milton, 63, of Pulaski, Lawrence County, and nine passengers, children between 6 and 11 years old, were not injured.Police said Drapola was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
1:55 p.m. Wednesday — A car backed up and struck the front of a pickup truck on Shingle Hollow Road in Perry Township. A police report did not identify either driver.
