4:44 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Michael Wright, 19, of Butler rear-ended another SUV at North Main Street Extension and Belmont Road. Linda McMaster, 38, of Butler was the other driver.3:55 p.m. Wednesday — No one was hurt in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction accident on New Castle Road near Alameda Park Road. The crash happened when a vehicle driven by Dylan Snyder, 20, of Butler rear-ended another vehicle, which was pushed into the third vehicle.

4:40 p.m. Wednesday — A 17-year-old boy told police that an unknown man driving a newer model, blue, two-door Ford car followed him as he walked on West Poplar Street.The boy, who was walking home, said the man was white. He said the man did not say anything to him but he felt the driver was following him as he tried to elude the car twice and it appeared it continued to follow him.Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-458-7925Police, meanwhile, caution everyone to be aware of their surroundings, and should something occur immediately get to a place of safety and call 911 to report any incidents to police.

1:21 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Kaitlyn P. Hickey, 18, of Johnstown, Cambria County, rear-ended a pickup truck on Route 108 in Worth Township. Police said Hickey was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. Ryan Braatz, 22, of New Castle was driving the pickup.1:20 a.m. Thursday — A Tennessee man got himself in trouble with the law when he lost his temper at the Pilot Truck Stop on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.The suspect, Richard Sullenberger, 50, of Jefferson City, started yelling inside the store after his vehicle was damaged at the truck stop parking lot.Sullenberger remained hot under the collar even after troopers got there to try and cool off the disturbance, according to a police report. He was cited for disorderly conduct.April 13 — A 16-year-old Evans City area boy is accused of breaking into a Puma Road home in Connoquenessing Township and stealing five cigarettes.

Tuesday — Two homes on Stewardson Road in Pine Township were broken into and numerous tools stolen.
