7:51 p.m. Thursday — Harry Lee Beckwith Jr., 40, was arrested stemming from a domestic dispute at his East Locust Street home. Beckwith was arraigned on two counts of terroristic threats and a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.2:35 p.m. Tuesday — Thomas W. McCune Jr., 43, of Saxonburg was arrested after he was caught allegedly shoplifting $110.93 in merchandise from the Rite-Aid store on Main Street. While searching McCune, police found a bag of suspected marijuana.McCune was arraigned on a charge of felony theft and possession of marijuana. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.

Friday — Police reported that Deanna Miller, 30, of Butler faces several charges for allegedly using someone's lost debit card at several businesses.The card was reportedly lost on New Year's Day, and police said Miller used it the next three days to make purchases at stores.Store video surveillance cameras helped to identify Miller, who is charged with theft of mislaid property, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property.Tuesday — Police arrested Amy L. Mavrodis, 35, of Butler on prescription fraud charges stemming from an incident Sept. 24 at the Giant Eagle pharmacy, Moraine Pointe Plaza.Mavrodis found a prescription that belonged to another person, and later had that prescription for the pain reliever Darvocet filled.She was arraigned on charges of fraudulent acquisition of a controlled substance, identity theft and possession of a controlled substance. She is free on her own recognizance.

Thursday — Police filed felony and other charges against three young men accused of vandalizing a car and causing $5,073 in damages last month in the parking lot of the First National Bank in Slippery Rock.The suspects allegedly poured salad dressing and ketchup on the 1998 Cadillac Eldorado during the early morning hours of Dec. 19, according to court documents. They also slashed both rear tires and “keyed” the vehicle's body.Charged with criminal mischief and conspiracy, both felonies, are Ryan P. Gordon, 19, of Portersville; and Joshua A. Fajohn, 21, and Alec B. McDeavitt, 18, both of Slippery Rock. They also were cited for disorderly conduct.5:54 p.m. Wednesday — Robert C. Coulter, 41, allegedly threatened to kill his wife, Colleen Coulter, during a domestic dispute at the couple's home on Boyers Road in Marion Township.The defendant has a handgun.After being called to the house, police found a .357-caliber revolver on the couch. The suspect denied the allegations.Coulter is charged with terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault and harassment.

10 p.m. Thursday — Jeffrey Adams, 29, of Templeton allegedly hit an 18-year-old Ford City woman in the face, leaving her with a black eye, during an argument at a Clay Avenue home in Pine Township. Adams faces a charge of simple assault.5:38 p.m. Thursday — Police are investigating a case of road rage during which the suspect reportedly pointed a black gun at three people in a car that was southbound on Route 28 just south of Route 422 in East Franklin Township.The police news release did not say if a suspect has been identified. Police only identified the victims as a 37-year-old man, a 15-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. Police said the investigation continues.Thursday — A would-be thief tried to cut off a catalytic converter from a pickup truck at West Kittanning Auto Care on Linde Road in North Buffalo Township. The suspect cut one side of the part but was unable to completely cut the other side. The attempted theft happened between Monday and Thursday.1:10 a.m. Wednesday — Joshua E. Coleman, 29, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car traveled down a hillside and ended up against a tree along snow-covered North Avenue in West Kittanning.
