Lois Jean Wiles

Lois Jean Wiles, 69, of Washington Township died early Saturday afternoon at her home after a long illness.

Born June 26, 1938, in Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Clarence Frank and Margaret Marie Burwell Myers.

She was a Protestant.

Mrs. Wiles was employed by Bobbie Brooks for years and also had worked at the former Hot Dog Shop.

She was a member of the Tri-County Music Association.

Surviving are four daughters, Lorie Marie Thompson of Eau Claire and Mindy L. Grossman, Jennifer J. Christy and Emily J. Hutchison, all of Petrolia; two sons, John M. Wiles of Hilliards and Joseph W. Wiles of Petrolia; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia "Patty" Sharrar of Clarion and Kimberly "Kimmie" McFarland of Volant; two brothers, Clarence "Sonny" Myers of Slippery Rock and Ronald Myers of Volant; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A sister also preceded her in death.

<B>WILES</B> — Friends of Lois Jean Wiles, who died Saturday, March 1, 2008, will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Main Street/Route 38, in Eau Claire. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias of North Washington Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at the Rosewood Cemetery at Ridgeville.Information also is available at www.buzardfuneralhomes.com.
