Laura M. Wyzykowski, 89, of 260 Jesus is the Way, Franklin, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at The Caring Place in Franklin, where she had been a resident since August.

Born Oct. 9, 1918, in Indiana, Pa., she was a daughter of William and Anna Elizabeth Barrett Slater.

She first was married to Henry Zerres. She later married Orlo R. Vanderhoof in Titusville on July 28, 1951, and he died April 4, 1984. She then married Chester Wyzykowski in 1985, and he died 1991.

Mrs. Wyzykowski attended the Pleasantville schools.

She is survived by a son, Charles Zerres and his wife, Patricia, of Franklin; three daughters, Ann Reynolds and her husband, Ben, of Grand Valley, Nancy Stoughton and her husband, Leonard, of Tionesta and Jean Shreffler and her husband, Bill, of Pleasantville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Hollabaugh of Diamond and Ellen Linder of McKean; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Zerres; five brothers, Charles, Thomas, James, Francis and Frederick Slater; and four sisters, Eileen Alexander, Pearl Thompson, Grace Kinnear and Ann Reed.

<B>Wyzykowski </B>— Friends of Laura M. Wyzykowski, who died Saturday, March 1, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home</B>, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her son, the Rev. Charles Zerres, officiating. Burial will be at the Jerusalem Corners Cemetery, Pleasantville.Memorials may be made to the Jesus Is Life Ministries, 260 Jesus is the Way, Franklin, PA 16323 or to the Hospice of Venango County, 176 E. Bissell Ave., Oil City, PA 16301.
