Dale E. Bryan

Dale E. Bryan, 82, of Karns City died at 11 p.m. Saturday at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born July 30, 1925, in Concord Township, he was the son of Robert Steele Bryan and Etta Pearl Campbell Bryan.

He was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Bryan retired from Rex Hide in East Brady. He also had been employed at Black Fox Mining and was a lifelong farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Freedline Bryan, whom he married Nov. 22, 1947; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Rose Marie) Campbell of North Washington and Lucille Bryan at home; a son, Thomas Bryan at home; seven grandchildren, Mrs. Paul (Melony) Wagner, Brad Bryan and his wife, Tricia, Mrs. Stan (Cari) Lopiniski, Heather and Ashly Bryan, Tiffany Berry, and Nathan Campbell and his wife, Sarah; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was the last surviving sibling in his family. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. A granddaughter also preceded him in death.

<B>BRYAN</B> — Friends of Dale E. Bryan, who died Saturday, March 1, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Concord Cemetery.
