3 p.m. Saturday - Police are seeking the unknown driver of a white, mid-1980s Jeep Cherokee that deliberately drove through and damaged the turf in a yard at Whitestown Road and Colonial Avenue. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on Colonial Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

11:52 a.m. Sunday - Cars driven by Cole Kummer, 20, of Butler and Cheryl Uhl, 46, of Prospect collided on Unionville Road in Center Township. Uhl, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.10:44 p.m. Saturday - James Eric Beck, 31, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Penn Township.4:55 p.m. Saturday - Two people were injured when their motorcycle and a car collided at routes 173 and 8 in Brady Township.Dean Thomas, 56, and Paula Thomas, 53, no addresses given, suffered an ankle and knee injury, respectively, but did not require hospitalization; both were wearing helmets.Police said Thomas was driving the motorcycle and was stopped when the collision occurred. Mary Dobish, 57, of Gambrillsville, Md., was driving the car.4:54 p.m. Saturday - A Butler area woman was seriously injured when her all-terrain vehicle crashed on Grossman Road in Clay Township.Debra Ragan, 24, was flown by medical helicopter with head injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not known this morning.Ragan and Walter Wocjichowski, 26, of Renfrew, a passenger on the ATV, were thrown from the vehicle when it crashed. The extent of Wocjichowski's injuries was not immediately known. Police noted that the vehicle, owned by Wocjichowski, was not registered and carried no insurance.Saturday - A yellow, 2004 Honda all-terrain vehicle and an Xbox game system were taken from a garage between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday in a burglary at the West Slippery Rock Street home of Melissa Crawford in Chicora.Friday - A con man used a fraudulent Web site to steal nearly $140 from the checking account of a Summit Township man.2:10 a.m. Thursday - Michael Watterson, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Chicora.

3:57 a.m. July 24 - Timothy J. Howard, 42, of Parker was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him lying next to his motorcycle on Rocky Run Road in Toby Township, Clarion County. Police determined Howard didn't crash but instead stopped and passed out.

3:45 a.m. Sunday - A 39-year-old woman, whom police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.2:12 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Jamie Booher, 23, of Kittanning was traveling south on Route 3128 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, when it crested a hill and began sliding, losing a rear wheel before striking an embankment.

2:30 p.m. Sunday - A boy was caught a short time after running away from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township, Mercer County.12:45 a.m. Saturday - John Dewaine Stevens, 43, of Harrisville was arrested for driving under the influence on Lee Road near Route 58 in Findley Township, Mercer County. In addition to DUI, Stevens is charged with careless driving.Friday - About 40 compact discs and a portable DVD player were taken from two cars parked at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Police said the thief broke the cars' windows to make off with the property, owned by Matt and Tamie Stevens, both of Grove City.7:45 p.m. Tuesday - Bogus merchandise including sneakers, athletic jerseys and designer-labeled shirts and jeans worth a combined street value of $18,500 was seized from a vehicle stopped on Interstate 80 in Pine Township, Mercer County. Nassouradine Haroun, no age given, of Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested for trademark counterfeiting.
