2:21 a.m. Thursday - A Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James R. Lindsay, 24, of Butler left the roadway on Alameda Park Road. A witness flagged down a patrolman. Lindsay received cuts and scrapes from the accident. He told police he was fine, but was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. Lindsay was charged with driving under the influence and careless driving.
1 a.m. Friday - A car driven by Joshua C. Deal, 22, of Butler struck a tree along Jones Road near Critchlow Lane in Jefferson Township. Neither Deal nor his passenger, David Edinger, 19, of Cabot, was injured. They were wearing seat belts.5:52 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Douglas Eberle, 41, of Imperial left the roadway, rolling onto the median on Route 79 at Exit 96 in Muddy Creek Township. Eberle, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries. He was cited for a summary traffic violation.Friday - McCandless Quick Stop on New Castle Road in Worth Township reported the theft of approximately $50 from three Pepsi machines sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 5:15 a.m. Friday. The locks were damaged. Anyone with information about the theft should call the Butler barracks of the state police.
6:37 a.m. Friday, May 27 - A car driven by Timothy L. Shreffler, 24, of Parker, Armstrong County, left the roadway and struck several feet of a barbed wire fence and a bush on Route 2011, also known as Curllsville Road, north of Saylor Road, in Toby Township. After returning to the roadway, the car continued northbound for nearly a mile before spinning clockwise off the roadway at a right curve, sliding down an embankment into a wooded area. Shreffler, who was wearing a seat belt and wasn't injured, fled the scene on foot.9:10 a.m. Sunday, May 29 - TTSR, or Training Toward Self Reliance, on Canoe Ripple Road in Licking Township reported the theft of a large safe and a camcorder from its offices sometime between 6 p.m. on May 27 and 9:10 a.m. on May 29. Anyone with information on the theft should call the Clarion barracks of the state police.
2:15 a.m. Saturday, May 28 - Three Kittanning teenagers were charged with underage drinking following a traffic stop on Route 268 near the driver's license center in North Buffalo Township. Jaclynn Elizabeth Thomas, 18, Chelsea Toy, 18, and Nicole M. Palermo, 19, who were passengers in a vehicle, were cited. The patrol was part of the Click It or Ticket program, which promotes wearing seat belts.
