At the height of Friday night’s rain, Pillow Street was flooded to the curbs in front of Kelly Automotive Park, and some passing cars made waves. At least two bands of thunderstorms that swept across Butler caused some street flooding. The storms also caused numerous trees to fall onto roads and power lines around the county. The first wave of storms resulted in power outages for nearly 3,000 households in the county at about 3:45 p.m. Friday. About four hours later, the number of households without power had fallen to about 1,250.
