Police found Bragg riding in a vehicle driven by a woman who had a suspended license, according to court documents. While at the vehicle, an officer noticed what appeared to be Chore Boy copper scrubber in the center console.

The defendant admitted that he had drug contraband and marijuana on him, documents said. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Monday — David B. Ritter, 21, of Butler was charged with being more than twice the state’s legal limit for alcohol stemming from a hit-and-run crash last month.

The truck, according to court documents, was also leaking a large amount of transmission fluid. Police said he eventually admitted that he had hit the side of the building.

Ritter subsequently showed impairment during field sobriety testing. He was taken to the station for a breath test that allegedly indicated his blood-alcohol level was 0.193 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.

In addition to driving under the influence, he is charged with hit-and-run, failing to immediately notify police of an accident and reckless driving.
