Voting
Yes , I agree. Everyone should vote. If for no other reason than to have something to legitimately complain about. Which idiot do I vote for this year? Hmm That's a tough one. There seems to be an endless supply of them. One idiot promises this another promises that. They are all liars! None of them can be trusted! I think perhaps the ones we can trust the least are the ones who have been in the longest, they know how to manipulate the system better. No matter what your choice is it will benefit the rich; to what degree is the only question. Politics is flawed right out of the gate in that it takes money to run for office; therefore the rich have a leg up on the rest of us immediately. There are tons of poor or middle class people out there that I would vote for in spades over any of the available candidates but they will never be able to run for office because of the cost involved. What a shame. We have to depend on a different idiot each election year to represent us in Government when no matter who it is they are loyal to the party that got them elected more specifically the money that got them elected. We sit here listening to promises speeches and debates that look like fist fights and accomplish nothing and then a couple of years later we complain about promises that were not kept. Does it really matter who wins? I'm not sure ; my new approach this year will be to vote out all of the incumbents who have already proven they are worthless and vote in all new blood. Maybe it will take the newly elected officials extra time to figure out the system and we taxpayers won't get screwed so badly. I think once they figure the system out they really just stick it to you. Remember to VOTE, it certainly is important. To what degree is the only question.Regards John
