Mark & DJ response

No Mark I do not think anything or anyone should get off the road. That was not my point. Since you brought it up, Any person on a bike on the road, causes problems for drivers. If we agree with letting this happen, safety points should be made available. You brought up pedestrians; People have crosswalks and obey traffic rules bicycles are a touch different. Mark my letter was intended to point ineffecient and non effective laws, that could be made for everyone's safety. I am still not convinced that bicycles belong on our roads, in chime with traffic. However, Thank you for your input. I still believe in what I wrote.

Response to dj

message-Dj, yes I do know a few people on disabilities. I am aware of their income and I aware of a representative payee. Payee can be a member of the family or one appointed from the local grapevine association. I have a family member on a disability. I would not bring it up if I didn't know about this. As for the amount, I know! That is another issue. I believe the amount now is $603.00 monthly. As I also stated in my letter in the beginning, know about whatever it is you are voting for. Cost of living sucks for all. A fulltime job on minimum wage isn't alot more than a disability check and there is taxes taken out of wages. Also disabled people do receive food stamps and other benefits. Not that this is a luxury way of life. But I would think it beats being disabled on nothing. And that dj was not the point. I still believe in what I said.
