Cheerleading Article

I've decided to respond to the letter in the Eagle in regards of Cheerleading.

Whether the performer is an adult or a child. It all deals with evaluation of the salesmanship of the product. This includes the elements of preparation, visual plan and the creating and communication of the onstage magic. With effective showmanship, the performer is able to enhance what a listener hears by reinforcing it with what the viewer sees, creating a total performance.

Judges observe each group who walks on with a confident additude, preparation and command are obvious to the judges right away. A judge can tell if a performer is genuinely excited about performing, and if you feel confident about your product.

A performer needs to present a strong frame, which it is each groups responsibility to shine through, and the opportunity to display how much each of you love performing.

With and makeup and grooming, the performer strives to apply makeup in such a manner that individuals blend into an overall picture. The primary purpose of stage makeup is to define facial features so the the audience is aware of, and can respond to, the performer's facial expressions ONLY!!!!! It also says, "The showmanship judge bases the evaluation of unified facial involvement, unified commitment to the performance energy, and unit approach to characterization. The group must be able to present a polished and unified picture, and carefully planning every part of the the contest set will help establish the unit look that is desired. The judges are influenced by unified stamina, consistent facial involvement from beginning to end, sincerity and professionalism as you perform.

Just remember the examination of characterization, costumes, choreography and engery should fill an entire book or an article!!!!

You need to study each of the performers so that you can complete the product

specifically designed for the contest system.

The negative attitudes and negative self-image of these other people are the ones who lack the challenge, lack of joy, lack of accomplishment, lack of support and/or apprecitation and lack of being overwhelmed of change.
