Betty J. Miller, 81, of Richland Township died Thursday afternoon at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.

Born in Ohio Township, Allegheny County, Nov. 22, 1925, she was the daughter of Edward Charles and Sarah Margaret Crawford Hohmann.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Bradford Woods Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are a son, Richard Miller and his wife, Jeanne, of Richland Township; two grandchildren, Jim Miller and his wife, Tracey, of Westfield, Mass., and Carol Cruz and her husband, Celek, of Lake Worth, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Emily Miller and Eric Cruz; a sister, Hazel Weissert of Mars; and many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Norman G. Miller, whom she married May 29, 1946, died Oct. 4, 1996. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Hohmann, and a sister, Jean Shepard.
