11:15 p.m. Friday — Five youths and young adults were arrested after police found them — some with flashlights — inside a vacant home in the 400 block of Zeigler Avenue.
Police stopped Christina L. Cardona, 21, of Butler and a boy, who they did not identify, leaving through a basement door. Another boy was hiding in the basement.
Coming out of the front door, police said, was Darien Lee Clemons, 18, of Duquesne, Allegheny County, and a girl, who was not identified.
Cardona told police, documents said, that she met up with a group of people and they “decided to go to the (home).”
Clemons said he knew a friend had been staying at the home and he went there to see if that person was still there, according to a police.
The occupant of the home was away and Cardona and Clemons both admitted that they did not have permission to be there. Each was later arraigned on a felony charge of trespass.
Clemons and Cardona were placed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail and $3,000 bail, respectively, following arraignment.
It was not immediately known if police charged the three youths in Butler County juvenile court.

June 18 — Police charged Freddie L. Raiburn Jr., 58, of Butler Township with being more than twice the state’s legal limit for alcohol after he got his car stuck last month at a Butler Township convenience store.
Police said they found Raiburn about 2:30 a.m. May 20 trying to get his vehicle off the curb at the Sheetz store parking lot on New Castle Road. He was accelerating the stuck car with the right front tire spinning in the air, according to court documents.
The defendant admitted that he had been drinking that night, possibly having consumed four or five beers. He subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.
Toxicology results showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.166 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.
Raiburn is charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving.
June 18 — Brian J. Miller, 29, of Slippery Rock was charged with having marijuana and other contraband in connection with a traffic stop for speeding last month in Butler Township. He was pulled over about 2:10 p.m. May 25 during a radar detail on Route 422 near Greenwood Drive.
Police said they smelled marijuana coming from Miller’s car, according to court documents, and a subsequent search turned up about six grams of suspected marijuana and a glass smoking pipe.
Miller is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and speeding.
