Ford

David K. Ford, 62, of Butler died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital. He had been a resident of Sunnyview Home for the past month.

Born April 16, 1944, in Butler, he was a son of the late Kenneth C. and Elsie McGinnis Ford.

He had worked as a boilermaker, and he was a member of Local 154 in Pittsburgh with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers union until April 1995, when disability forced his retirement. He had been certified in welding by the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission.

He was a member of the Butler Moose Lodge 64 and a devoted Christian. In 2001, he had been ordained as a non-denominational minister.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn L. Craig Ford, whom he married Sept. 7, 1968. Also surviving are a son, John David Ford of Butler; two daughters, D'Anne Heather Ford-Kotter of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tiffiny Michelle Ford of Frederick, Md.; a brother, Dale K. Ford of Laurel, Md.; two sisters, Connie Dutton of Dallas, Texas, and Carol Havercamp of Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
