Doris H. Jensen
Doris H. Jensen, 71, of Butler died Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Nov. 30, 1936, in Stamford, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Elrod Pentaz Wilson and Alene Elizabeth Haight Sullivan Wilson.
She worked for 35 years at Metalized Ceramics for Electronics in East Butler as a screener and lead girl in the coding room.
She had attended the Community Alliance Church in Butler. She enjoyed fishing, camping and watching full moons.She loved animals, was proud to be an organ donor and was a very sentimental person.
Surviving are her three sons, Glenn Jensen of Florida, and Rickie and Gary Jensen, both of Connecticut; one grandson, Clint Jensen of Pittsburgh; three stepchildren, Susan Pfeifer, Byron S. Mable Jr., and Edward Mable, all of Butler; one sister, Rodel Lee Riley and her husband, Kim, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Delrod Alan and his wife, Cheryl, Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Pentaz Aden Wilson of Lake City, Fla.; and her best friend, Barbara Houston of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her companion of 37 years, Byron S. Mable Sr., who died Nov. 27, 2004; and her sister, Elizabeth Joy Sullivan Gasper.
<B>Jensen</B> — Friends of Doris H. Jensen, who died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home, </B>201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis Krajacic, pastor of Community Alliance Church in Butler, will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
