Leola Zier, 105, of Saxonburg died April 22 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 30, 1902, in Saxonburg, she was the daughter of Charles and Annie Reamer Drescher.

She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights.

Surviving are a son, Donald Zier of Saxonburg; a daughter, Mary Colgan of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Marie Alderson of Saxonburg; a brother, Emery Drescher of Saxonburg; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Herman Zier, who died Nov. 21, 1995; a son, Charles Zier; two sisters, Elsie Byers and Margaret Graff; and four brothers, William, Paul, Henry and Howard Drescher.

<B>ZIER </B>— A memorial service for Leola Zier, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Lund Chapel at Concordia, gate 4, with the Rev.
