Jane L. Burdic, 85, of Butler died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.

She was born June 4, 1924, in Brackenridge, a daughter of the late Thomas J. Keefe Sr. and the late Olga Krauth Keefe.

Jane was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. As a young lady, she worked in the accounting office at Butler Armco from 1943 through 1948.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She formerly was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, the Women's Council and Phase 2 at St. Peter's Church.

Her husband, Edwin N. Burdic, preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1978. One brother and one sister also preceded her.

Surviving are her children, Charles T. Burdic and his wife, Kathy Burdic, of Round Lake, Ill., and Mary Anne Burdic of Gahanna, Ohio. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kathryn "Katie" Burdic of Albuquerque, N.M., and Douglas M. Burdic of Quincy, Ill. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

<B>BURDIC </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Jane L. Burdic, who died Saturday, March 27, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. in Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Interment will follow at the St. Peter Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
