Calvin 'Buzz' Fennell
Calvin "Buzz" Fennell, 91, of Fenelton died Saturday at Meadowlake Manor, Worthington.
He was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Fenelton, a son of the late Harry and Viola Fennell.
He was a welder for 42 years at Pullman Standard, where he was the second oldest welder to retire from there.
Mr. Fennell was a World War II Army veteran, where he received the Bronze Star for heroism in the Pacific.
He was a Protestant.
He loved to attend auto races at local tracks, where he helped with his son's business. He enjoyed hunting, planting and working his garden. He also had a special love for his Pomeranian.
Surviving are his son, Daniel B. Fennell and his wife, Linda, of Sarver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel "Dottie" Fennell, who passed away April 9, 2009; four brothers; and four sisters.
<B>FENNELL</B> — Friends of Calvin "Buzz" Fennell, who died Saturday, April 10, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the <B>F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME</B>, Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
