Lester E. Wilder, 79, of Butler passed away at 12:36 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 23, 1931, in Painesville, Ohio, the son of the late Rome Wilder and Olive (Sparks) Wilder.

Surviving are his sister, Esther A. Coulter of Painesville, Ohio; his sister-in-law, Ruth Wilder of Painesville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
