Robert J. Anderson
Robert J. Anderson, 80, of Eau Claire passed away at the VNA Inpatient Hospice Care Tuesday evening.
Born Nov. 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Vista M. McCoy Anderson.
Robert married Margaret Eleanor Lavy Anderson on Nov. 7, 1951. She survives.
Mr. Anderson served in the Signal Corps in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Robert was a truck driver for 35 years for various companies throughout his career.
He was a member of the VFW of Parker and the American Legion.
He is survived by one son, Roger Anderson (Lisa) of Strasburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Andrew Rudolph and his partner, Charles Boyd, of San Diego, Calif., and Tyler Anderson (Crystal) of Strasburg, Va.; one great-grandson, Grayson Anderson of Strasburg, Va.; and one brother-in-law, Arnold "Tut" Jackson of the Caring Place in Oil City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Anderson; one grandson, James Anderson Jr.; and a cousin, Mary Alice McCandless of Eau Claire.
