MIDDLESEX TWP — Police hope the public can help nab the burglar or burglars who made off with thousands of dollars worth of property, including handguns, from a home last week.

The break-in at a house in the 500 block of Deer Creek Road happened between 5:45 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. March 19.

Township police Sgt. Randy Ruediger said the home was entered through the front door.

“There’s probably more than one suspect because of the amount of property that was taken,” he said.

Among the items stolen were three firearms — a 9 mm pistol, .44-caliber handgun and .45-caliber revolver — and a 50-inch plasma Samsung television.

Also taken was jewelry, a laptop computer and a pair of Nintendo video game systems and several video games.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call 724-898-3533, or 911.
