A representative of Butler Community College's Adult Literacy Program will be available to answer questions about the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and again Oct. 11 at the Butler Public Library.

Paul Lucas, coordinator of the BC3 program, will host the meeting, a news library release said.

"This will be a great time to find out when and where the official test is given as well as what types of questions are on the test," Lucas said in the release. "Additionally, people will be able to talk about the free classes at BC3 designed to help prepare them for the test."

No reservation is needed, the release said.

The library recently bought videos, DVDs and other materials to help students prepare for the exam, the release said.
