Still not too late at BC3
BUTLER TWP—Butler County Community College is registering students for a mini semester.
A 10-week mini semester for new students begins Sept. 28 and runs through Dec. 7 at the BC3 Main Campus.
The mini semester is five weeks shorter than a regular semester and is designed for students who weren't able or ready to start college classes in August. All credits are transferable and fit into General Education categories.
While the mini semester runs on a different time table, the instruction and material remain the same as regular semester courses.
Monday and Wednesday courses include:
• Sociology — 10 a.m. to noon
• Speech — 1 to 3 p.m.
• English I — 3 to 5 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday courses include:
• Intro to Business — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• General Psychology — 1 to 3 p.m.
• Health Science — 4 to 6 p.m
• Intro to Microcomputing — 9 to 11 a. m.
All courses are 3 credits at $91 per credit for county residents. Registration for the program is open and will continue through the first week of classes.
