Parker man arrested for child endangerment, drug possession at McDonalds

A Parker resident was arrested on Friday, Sept. 12, after he was found unresponsive in his car with his young daughter and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia.

Zachory M. Williamson, 32, was charged with misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children, DUI of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered; and a summary count of public drunkenness/similar misconduct.

According to an affidavit, the incident took place in the parking lot outside the McDonalds near the Clearview Mall. Pennsylvania State Police initially found Williamson in an ambulance being attended to by medical personnel.

He reportedly told police he had taken his daughter to McDonalds, then he “got sick and fell asleep.”

Police searched his vehicle and found numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, including a crack pipe, lighters and seven bags of heroin. According to the police affidavit, Williamson’s daughter was with him in the vehicle at McDonalds.

Williamson subsequently was arrested and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a legal blood draw.

A preliminary hearing is been set for Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. in front of District Judge Lewis Stoughton. Williamson’s bail was set at $50,000, which he posted.
