William Pitts
Eagle Staff Writer
William joined the staff of the Butler Eagle in April 2023 after spending a year and a half as staff writer for the Independent Messenger newspaper in Emporia, Va. Prior to this, he worked for the Maryland Independent newspaper in La Plata, Md., as well as several online sports publications. He holds a masters' degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, as well as a bachelors' degree in communications from Goucher University. William has spent most of his life in Dover, De., but now resides in Butler.
