Alice C. Hiles Bittner, 75, of Mars died Saturday afternoon at her home.

Born in Tiffin, Ohio, April 8, 1933, she was the daughter of John L. and Mildred Gilmore Hiles.

She had attended the Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township.

Mrs. Bittner had been a cook at LAS St. John in Mars for 18 years.

Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Bittner; three sons, Robert J. Bittner of Mars, Dale Bittner of Callery and Carl (Karen) Bittner of Sarver; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Forsythe of Chicora, Mrs. Bonnie Eldridge and Mrs. Vida Sedoris, both of Zelienople, and Mrs. Linda (Shannon) Turk of St. Marys; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

<B>BITTNER </B>— Friends of Alice C. Bittner, who died Saturday, May 17, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
