10:40 p.m. Thursday - Christopher McCorry, 38, of 577 W. Cunningham St., 2nd floor, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he scuffled with police in his apartment.Police were called to the building to investigate a possible domestic disturbance when they heard McCorry playing his stereo loudly. McCorry refused to identify himself or provide identification. He struggled when officers tried to handcuff him and had to be carried from the apartment building.7:26 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle owned by Mario St. DeHaven, no age given, of 237 E. Brady St. was struck by a vehicle while it was parked on West Brady Street. The other vehicle fled the scene.1:30 p.m. Wednesday - Daniel Bowser, 23, no address given, was arrested after someone called police to report a man entering unlocked cars in the parking lot of Pullman Park Plaza.Police found Bowser in Kmart. When confronted, Bowser repeatedly forced his head through a panel by the main entrance of the store. He then started to yell profanities at police while continuing to strike his head against the wall. Bowser fought with police and the paramedics who responded to treat him. Bowser was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and then to Butler County Prison, where he became violent again, striking his head against the wall and struggling with officers. One corrections officer suffered a shoulder injury.Bowser was charged with aggravated assault on a corrections officer, assault by a prisoner on a corrections officer, theft from a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He remains in the prison.
5:46 p.m. Feb. 9 - Kenny Ross Chevrolet on Perry Highway reported a 2002 Chevy S-10 pick-up truck was stolen from its used car lot overnight. No value was given for the truck in the police report.7:06 a.m. Feb. 9 - A chain reaction accident at the traffic light on Route 19 near Lindsay Road sent one person to the hospital for treatment. Police said Danielle Marie Bigley, no age available, of Glen Eden Road, Cranberry Township, was traveling north on Route 19 when she failed to stop quickly enough for the traffic light that had just turned red.Bigley's vehicle ran into the rear of a vehicle driven by Duffy Daugherty, no age available, of Fombell, Beaver County. Daugherty was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment. Two other vehicles sustained minimal damage in the accident.7:10 a.m. Feb. 9 - A Chicora man was cited for speeding following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 68 and Lindsay Road. Police said Michael J. Turner, 24, of Chicora was traveling west on Route 68 when he began to merge into the turning lane for Lindsay Road. He struck a van owned by Amerimax Fabricated Products of Glenshaw from behind when the van stopped in the lane for the traffic light. The driver of the van was not identified.1:59 a.m. Feb. 4 - Jeremias B. Mueller, 23, of 181 Nelson Lane, Zelienople, faces driving under the influence of alcohol charges following a traffic stop on Route 19. A patrolman witnessed the vehicle drifting back and forth between the left and right lanes.
3:54 p.m. Monday - Edward B. Littlefield, 37, of Summerville, was arrested at the Park Motel on parole violations. He was turned over to the Pittsburgh State Parole Task Force.11 p.m. Friday Feb. 4 - A home in the 500 block of Bessemer Avenue was vandalized with a paintball gun. Damage is estimated at $600. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Grove City police.
4:30 p.m. - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Browns Mill Road in Forward Township.The collision occurred when a vehicle driven by Verne Davis, 29, of Evans City failed to take a curve in the road and struck a vehicle driven by Elisabeth Karafa, 38, of Gibsonia head-on.Davis was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with a serious injury. An 11-year-old boy in Karafa's vehicle was taken to Children's Hospital. The conditions of both were unknown Friday morning.7:25 a.m. Thursday - A school bus driven by Mary Beth Cavanaugh, no age given, of Butler slid off of an icy Frazier Road in Jefferson Township. There were no students on the bus and Cavanaugh was not injured.
