Laws and Voting

As an American, I had to sit back and look at the whole picture before voting time is here once again. Rhetorical question, How many times do we as voters, sit down and sincerely access the candidate and the proposal they present? There are serious laws out there with big major mistakes. Are we concerned? Time for a change? Taxes are a huge problematic area. With the people we have voted into office, in good faith; lets take a local look. I live a few blocks from the NEW jail. Not one taxpayer knew that this was going to happen until it appeared one day. We voted for this??? Adults that are unfortunately disabled and rightly getting income because of their disorder, can cash their check and do what they please. Some have a payee, (extreme cases). My point, if u are a disabled adult and unable to work and you receive taxpayers dollars, how are they able to appropriately care for their own financial needs? 2 + 2 are not making 4 here. Why do we agree as a whole on this? Adults on a disability, should automatically have a payee. I have seen these same disabled adults, not getting the medical treatment that they need, but clearly allowed to cash the check and blow it. A person with a mental disability for example, they can't work, they can't appropriately function, but they get their checks and are allowed under our laws, to blow the taxpayers money. Enforce the fact that adults that are mentally disabled must get medical on a regular basis. Let's look at the Section 8 program, HUD. We complain about the tenants. Let's take a look at the HUD landlords. Filthy conditions are overlooked in our neighborhoods? Are you going to blame the diabled? We need to ask"Why does HUD allow this??? "Why do the landlords allow this?" It is very simple Lanlords get a guarenteed government nice chunk of change, so why would the landlord complain, he might loose a paying customer. It is THE LAWS and THE Lawmakers we need to change. If we want decent HUD tenants, our laws need to provide for decent landlord RULES. As I say, We need to look at the law itself and as a society use more common sense when we vote. On a different note, A small child is riding on the road with a bike. Child gets hit. The driver is cited. Perhaps the driver should have been cited, however Why was the child allowed to dangerously ride his bike on the road in the first place? Why are the parents allowing their child to ride on the road? Why don't parents in this type of situation get cited as well? Oh thats right, we now have a law that allows our children to do this , if they are wearing appropriate gear. How Sad. My point, Kids and bikes do not belong on our roads, Motor Vehicles do. The list is endless and obviously governed with little to no political common sense. If the reading audience feels I was Politically incorrect, I will not apologize, because I believe in what I say. Thank-You
