Susan D. Davis Koegler, 72, of Plum, formerly of Zelienople, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 18, 2023, at UPMC East, Monroeville, with her family by her side.

Born Aug. 21, 1951, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel Seals Davis.

She was a former member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church, Zelienople.

She enjoyed crafting. She also loved baking, but just mention “shopping” and going out to eat, she was the first there.

She is survived by one daughter, Carrie (Chris) Vargesko of Plum; two sons, Sean Maust of Harmony and Justin (Jennifer) Koegler of Fombell; one sister, Cindy (Chester) Ekis of Cranberry Township; one brother, Frank “Red” (Patsy) Davis Jr. of Zelienople; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly, Taylor, Courtney, Victoria, Damia, Payne, Silas, Samra, Sophia, Ella, Christapher and Kaiden; and her first great-grandchild is expected.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Koegler, on July 23, 2020; and one sister, Carol Wolfe.

KOEGLER — Services for Susan D. Davis Koegler, who died Monday morning, Dec. 18, 2023, will be held privately by her family.

Arrangements are under the direction of A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
