Butler Township to sell excess vehicles to highest bidders
BUTLER TWP — Township officials are hoping to offload a few excess vehicles through a bidding process.
Supervisors voted 4-0 at a Monday, Oct. 19, township meeting to authorize advertising for bids to purchase three vehicles — two police interceptors and a 10-ton dump truck.
Township manager Tom Knights said this is an annual process done by the township to offload vehicles it no longer needs. He said the vehicles will be sold to the highest bidders.
