Officers place rifles into their patrol car Wednesday after they used a search warrant to check for suspected prostitution activity at a foot massage parlor on Dutilh Road in Cranberry Township.

CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Township police Wednesday afternoon raided a foot massage parlor, looking for evidence of prostitution and other crimes.

Police cars lined up outside of the parlor on Dutilh Road, where officers used a search warrant to collect evidence of any wrongdoings.

Police later emerged from the parlor carrying several rifles that they put into their police cruisers before going back into the building.

“We are detaining several people right now,” said Sgt. Chuck Mascellino of the township police.

He said police did not know if anyone would be charged. He said that at least three people had been questioned.

Police had been receiving complaints about the parlor, Mascellino said, and came to investigate.

Police also have yet to determine who owns the guns that were found and whether they were owned legally.

Mascellino said the business has been operating in Cranberry for two to three years.
