7:54 a.m. Thursday - Dylan Doughett, 14, of Butler told police he was forced off of Franklin Street by a car as he rode his bicycle. Doughett said the driver of the car originally stopped then left after he saw him get up.2:19 a.m. Thursday - Leanne Martin, 19, of Portersville; Chad Ifft, 19, of 104 Ifft Lane and David Furka, 20, of 228 Willard Ave. were cited for disorderly conduct after it was discovered they had shot numerous cars in Butler and Butler Township with paintballs. City police stopped the vehicle they were driving on Morton Avenue and found a paintball gun on the floor of the vehicle. The three then admitted they had shot the cars.4:52 a.m. Wednesday - Russell Clutter, 23, no address given; Mikeal Clutter, 26, no address given, and Dennis Campbell, 25, no address given were arrested after they assaulted a Butler man, ransacked his residence and stole items from him.City police were dispatched to a house on American Avenue where the 24-year-old man told them the three men had stopped by to visit. An argument started and the three assaulted the victim. They ransacked his home and stole a DVD player, some jewelry, cash and other items.City police found the three men on West Jefferson Avenue at 5:18 a.m. and were able to recover most of the stolen items. The three were charged with robbery, unlawful restraint, simple assault and criminal conspiracy. Russell Clutter was also charged with making terroristic threats.The men were arraigned by District Justice Peter Shaffer and are in Butler County Prison on $25,000 secured bond each.6:36 a.m. Tuesday - Vehicles driven by Michael DeAngelo, 45, of Lyndora and Leigh Thompson, 20, of Fenelton collided at the intersection of South Main Street and Route 68.
2:01 a.m. Thursday - Mark T. Fugh, 41, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Evans City Road in Butler Township.
10:22 a.m. Thursday - Someone stole 100 feet of trailing cable used as a drag line by RFI Energy in Sligo. The line was stolen from a site along Spring Road in Perry Township. Anyone with any information is asked to call state police in Clarion at 814-226-1710.State police said this incident is part of an ongoing number of thefts, which include more than 761 feet of drag line cable as of Thursday.On Friday two juveniles, aged 13 and 17, were found with several feet of cable and were melting it down to sell for scrap copper. The juveniles were arrested and the investigation continues.
