Howard 'Bud' Speicher
Howard H. "Bud" Speicher, 88, of Fombell died Monday at UPMC Passavant hospital.
Born July 21, 1921, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Nicholas and Margaret Speicher.
Mr. Speicher was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and member of Teamsters Local 249.
He enjoyed playing cards with his children and grandchildren and working with his hands, especially around the house. He also enjoyed going on cruises and traveling to Florida with his wife.
Mr. Speicher was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, Zelienople.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Jacobs) Speicher, whom he married June 23, 1945; two sons, David H. Speicher (Beverly) of Fombell and William M. Speicher (Elizabeth) of Portersville; a brother, Milton Speicher of Carrick; and 10 grandchildren, David, Charles, Kevin and Bryan Speicher, and Kimberly Rose, Kurt, Mark and Jessica Speicher, Jennifer Speicher and Vickie Casilli. Also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth J. Speicher; four brothers; and a sister.

"Bud" Speicher, who died Monday, May 17, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople. Everyone, please meet at the church.
