Christian M. Rivers, 32, of Slippery Rock died at 7:55 p.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 19, 1976, in Butler, she was a daughter of Leroy H. and Delores Arlene Stanley Watterson of Butler.

She attended the Holy One of Israel Tabernacle Church in Portersville.

She enjoyed scrapbooking and collages and loved her dog.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John A. Rivers, whom she married May 25, 2005; two daughters, Sarah M. Rivers of Butler and Sierra Mitchell of Slippery Rock; three sisters, Mrs. Tom (Kathryn) Kennedy of Slippery Rock, Debbie Watterson of Butler and Mrs. Nicholas (Barb) Valerio of Hilliards; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dave Mitchell, and a son, Dustin Lee Mitchell.

<B>RIVERS </B>— Friends of Christian M. Rivers, who died Monday, March 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with her aunt, the Rev. Nellie Taylor, of Holy One of Israel Tabernacle Church, officiating.
