W. Dayle Sontag

W. Dayle Sontag, 61, of Connoquenessing Township, formerly of New Brighton, died Wednesday afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Sewickley, Dec. 1, 1946, he was the son of Roberta McMasters Sontag of New Brighton and the late William J. Sontag.

He was a warehouse supervisor at Pittsburgh Manufacturing in Butler.

Mr. Sontag served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of Grace Methodist Church in New Brighton, where he was a former Sunday school teacher.

He enjoyed woodworking and especially appreciated his friends.

Surviving are his wife, Nina Harvard Sontag, who he married Aug. 31, 1968; a daughter, Beverly Sontag at home; two sons, Robert Sontag of Mars and Sean Sontag of Connoquenessing; his mother; and two sisters, Mary and Gayle.

<B>SONTAG</B> — Friends of W. Dayle Sontag, who died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
