10:30 a.m. Thursday — Norman Miller, 65, of Butler drove his vehicle from the Butler Commons Plaza parking lot after being involved in a hit-and-run accident. The vehicle struck a traffic signal pole while rounding the bend onto New Castle Road. Miller was flown by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition Saturday morning. Police are investigating.
Wednesday — Krystine Kobert, 35, of Butler reported the theft of about $60 from her unlocked vehicle at 631 Herman Road in Summit Township between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Wednesday.Thursday — Ray Watson, 39, of West Sunbury reported the theft of his mailbox post with mailbox and address sign from Gilbert Road in Concord Township that occurred between 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.Thursday — Carol Heller, 41, and Kevin McClaine, 33, both of Chicora, reported the theft of their mailboxes from Seven Hills Road in Oakland Township that occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.Wednesday — Jeanie Cornell, 35, and Mary Cornell, 57, both of Chicora, reported their mailboxes on McGinley Road in Oakland Township were smashed between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday.
5:30 a.m. Thursday — Joseph G. Robosson, 41, of Western Port, Md., was charged with unlawful restraint after Jennifer Kraylik, 21, of Johnstown reported he would not let her out of his truck after getting a ride from him. Eventually, she fled, running to the nearest residence and called 911. Police located Robosson asleep in his truck, which was parked in a driveway leading into Asbury Graphite in North Buffalo Township. Robosson was arraigned before District Judge Jamie Owen and jailed in Armstrong County Prison with bail set at $20,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.4:23 p.m. Thursday — Robert S. Yannotti, 47, of Karns City was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, making terroristic threats and simple assault following a domestic call to his residence at 157 Armstrong Run Road. When police responded to the domestic call, Yannotti resisted arrest. He was arraigned before District Judge Jamie Owen and jailed in Armstrong County Prison in lieu of $40,000 bond.
