Lawrence W. 'Brownie'Brown

Lawrence W. "Brownie" Brown, 62, of Parker died unexpectedly Friday afternoon at his home of natural causes.

Born on Feb. 16, 1946, in Butler, he was the son of the late John Malcolm and Lillian Elliott Brown.

He was a 1964 graduate of Fairview Township-Karns City School District.

He was a Protestant.

He had been employed at the former Pullman-Standard in Butler and was later employed at Ti-Brook when the company was in Cherry Valley.

He was a social member of the VFW in Parker.

Surviving are his wife, Carol E. Anthony Brown; two daughters, Crystal (Michael) Over of New Bethlehem, and Melody (Brian) Nordquist of Parker; four granddaughters, Tabitha Saye and Caitlin Nordquist, both of Parker, and Carly and Abigail Over, both of New Bethlehem; three sisters, Sally (Larry) Seybert of Port Allegany, Suellen (Dave) Thompson of Grove City, and Becky (Randy) Slaughenhoupt of Bruin; two brothers, Denny Brown of Foxburg and Jon Barton Brown of Sarver; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>BROWN</B>— Friends of Lawrence W. "Brownie" Brown, who died Friday, May 16, 2008, may call from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne St., Parker. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.Burial will be private at the convenience of family.
