Ruby L. Rihel Sidley, 77, of Harrisville died at 4:48 a.m. Friday at Grove City Medical Center after a lingering illness.

Born Jan. 14, 1930, near Harrisville, she was the daughter of Frank and Laura Rihel.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School Class of 1948.

Mrs. Sidley was a Protestant. She was a member of the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church of America.

Mrs. Sidley was a retired homemaker.She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.

She is survived by her husband, George Sidley, whom she married June 10, 1948. She is also survived by a daughter, Ella Ford and her husband, Kenneth, of Boyers; a son, Larry Sidley and his wife, Kimberly, of Butler; three grandsons, Chad Ford of Marienville, Jay Ford and his wife, Stephanie, of Stoneboro, and Andrew Sidley of Butler; a granddaughter, Shannon Sidley of Butler; a sister, Pearl Arblaster of Warren, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Bert and Jay Rihel, and a sister, Stella Kerr.

McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville.Private family funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Flemming from the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church officiating.Burial will be at the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
