Daniel J. Leach
Daniel J. Leach, 24, of North Ash Avenue, Parker, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his home.
Born June 17, 1983, in Frederick, Md., he was the son of Michael G. Leach Sr. of Parker and the late Della V. Leach, who died Tuesday.
He was a 2001 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg. He enjoyed motorcycles, tattoos and body piercing. He was a social member of the Parker VFW Post 7073.
Mr. Leach worked at Protek Metals in Barkeyville. He was highly thought of as a valued employee by the Salusky family, owners of Protek Metals.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister, Danielle M. Leach of Clarion; a brother, Michael G. Leach Jr. of Auburndale, Fla.; his grandmother, Dorothy Leach of McCoole, Md.; and a nephew, Zachary Hopkins. He also is survived by a number of close friends, aunts, uncles and cousins and his girlfriend, Amanda Yunk.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Maynard and Della Fritz Sier; and his paternal grandfather, John Leach.
<B>LEACH</B> — Friends of Daniel J. Leach, who died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Hile Funeral Home</B>, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton. Joint funeral services for Daniel and his mother Della will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed, pastor of St. Mary Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Parker, officiating.
