John Cumpston had three singles and a double as the Butler Elks defeated the UAAGiants, 14-9, in Butler County Pony League baseball recently.

Wes Eckstein added two singles, a triple and three runs scored while Cody Zoninni and Nick Martin had two singles each.

Nick Lopresti had two singles and Brad Fuhrer a double for the Giants.

Slate Lick 5, Evans City 4—Chris Shipe had two singles and two RBI, and Nathan Conroy had four strikeouts and earned the win.Evans City received a home run, three singles and three runs scored from Justin Bommer and a single, a double and a run scored from Ben Cypher.

Moniteau 13, Evans City Blue 8 — Josh McCormick singled and doubled for Moniteau, while Zack McCormick singled twice and Tony Campbell and Nathan Spencer each tripled.

Zelienople Matthews Jewelers 26, Mars Sky Bank 0 — Sam Bucci pitched a four-hitter, striking out eight, and Patrick Gardner tripled, singled and drove in five runs in the Zelienople rout.Ben Motyl and Tyler Beck each had three hits and four RBI, and Noah Wallace added two singles, a double and three RBI for Zelie.Nick Mathlage singled twice and made several stellar plays in the outfield for Mars.

UAA Giants 21, Harrisville Bulldogs 10 — Cole Rottman led the Giants with a single, a double and a triple, while Zach Kepple had two doubles and a single and Nate Christy managed two base hits.Mid-County Colt

Center Township 15, Freeport 5—Matt Maloy had two home runs and a single, Alex Martini had a triple and a single and Austin Snodgrass had three singles to lead Center Township.Freeport had a home run from Jake Morrison, a homer and a single from A.J. Watts and two singles from Jake Christy.

Saxonburg 13, Meridian-W. Rick's 1—Mark Stawecki tossed a complete game with four strikeouts while teammates Matt Lefever had a home run and a triple and Andy Lefever added two singles for Saxonburg.W. Rick's had two hits apiece from Beau Bechtel and Tyler Rajchel.
