The Butler Valley U-16 AADawgs split a pair of hockey games recently, losing 3-0 to the Arctic Foxes despite 10 saves by goaltender Cody Lee, and defeating the Youngstown Phantoms 9-0.

Against Youngstown, Austin White got the shutout in goal. Billy Dobson scored three goals, with Cody Bachman, Dom DeSanti, Matt Eshelman, Ricky McNulty, Joe Smith and Jake Tomasovic adding one each.

Shayne Hennessy had two assists in the win. The Dawgs are 5-1-2 on the year.

The Pittsburgh Huskies Pee Wee AAhockey team improved to 6-0-0 with a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Predators (6-1-1)in PAHLplay.

Goalie Clay Bachman got the win and Alex Welsh, Dustin Davis, Nick Whann and Troy Double each scored goals for the Huskies.

The Huskies play the Predators again at 12:40 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Valley Sports Complex in New Kensington
