MedEvac chopper responds to overnight Route 422 crash
A multivehicle crash around 10 p.m. Friday night on Route 422 west led to an emergency response, with a man taken by MedEvac helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for an open leg fracture.
According to emergency dispatchers, a vehicle crashed into a jersey barrier on Route 422 just past the on-ramp from Route 8 north, followed by a second vehicle crashing into the first.
Butler County 911 said there were no fatalities at the crash scene.
