Winning pitcher Cameron Turner contributed two singles as the UAA Penreco Blue Jays edged the East Butler A’s, 8-6, in Butler County Colt League baseball recently.

Brett Green added three singles, Anthony Stimac had a double and a single, and Jarret Lavan had two singles.

Tim Geibel had a double and three singles for East Butler. Josh Reddick added two singles.

Freeport 15, Evans City 5 —Harrison Wood had two triples and Justin Bollinger and Scott Nolan had a double and a single apiece to power Freeport.Zacc Golden had a double and Greg Ference a single for Evans City.

Center Township 16, Meridian W. Ricks 11 — Clark Liebler homered and singled three times, and Alex Martini tripled doubled and singled twice to lead Center Township.Cody Fleeger had two doubled and a triple for Center Township.Jordan Harbinson homered and singled three times, Tyler Rajchel singled twice and doubled and Jake Huey singled twice and doubled for Meridian.

Evans City 6, Freeport 5 — Bart Lalonde and Jake Double each singled three times and Tyler Huffman and Greg Ference each doubled for Evans City.Justin Bollinger singled twice for Freeport.Evans City also beat Zelie Hochenberger 6-5.Lalonde doubled and Zach Golden doubled and singled in that win. Dan Swierkowski and Josh Williams each singled twice.Zach Waltz singled twice and Josh Wise doubled for Zelie.

Mid-County PonyEvans City Reds 7, Meridian Right Electric 6 — Marvin Macher had two doubles and a single for the winners, with Justin Bommer had three singles, and Ben Cypher and Ryan O’Connor had two singles each.Lesneski had a double and two singles while Fehl added three singles for Meridian.

Center Township White Sox 11, Zelienople Jadco 6 — Cole Baxter pitched a complete game and added two singles in the win.Parker Campbell, Jake Thompson and Matt Slamecka each had three singles for the White Sox, with Campbell adding a double.Max Vickerman tallied two singles and two doubles for Zelie, while Joe Lang had two singles.

Butler Elks 12, Prospect Indians 6 — John Cumpston doubled, tripled and scored three runs; Tom Chybrzynski had two singles, scored three times and pitched a scoreless seventh inning, and Tyler Slepski and Wes Eckstein each had two singles for Butler Elks.John Peace had two doubles for Prospect and Ryan Gordon had a single and two runs scored.

Mars Weavers 3, Zelienople 1 — Ryan McKenzie pitched a two-hitter for six innings, striking out six, and Harrison McGhee pitched a scoreless seventh for the save for Mars.Tim Bandall went 1-for-2 for Mars.Tyler Beck went 1-for-3 for Zelienople.
