Patricia “Patti” McCall, 74, of Butler, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026.

She was born in Butler on April 29, 1951, daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Dixon) McCall. Patti graduated from Butler High School in 1969 and furthered her education at Slippery Rock University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in special education in 1994.

She was known for being quick to smile and was always there to lend a helping hand. Patti loved life and spending time with friends and family. She always made time for laughter but enjoyed the simple things. Patti especially loved being with her grandchildren and children.

She was the mother of Tiffany (Doug Janaszek) Dean and Troy Sovern; sister of Greg (Donna) McCall, Theresa (Joe) Calamusa and Sandra McCall; grandmother of Joslyn (Alec Cahill) Toth, Phoenix Dean, and Axel and Seth Sovern; and great-grandmother of Castiel and Haven Cahill, and Talia, who is on the way. She is also survived by her previous husband, Roger Kadunce.

Along with her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her husbands, Jeffrey Cherry and Carey Sovern; and her brother, Rohn McCall.

MCCALL — Family and friends of Patricia “Patti” McCall, who died Friday, April 10, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
