Alden E. “Bud” Hilliard, 92, of Butler, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Born on May 13, 1933, he was the son of the late Floyd Hilliard and Dora Sheffler Hilliard.

Bud proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He dedicated many years of service to Westinghouse before retiring in 1995. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and in his free time he enjoyed golfing, gardening and spending time with his beloved cat, Pooh. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Nancy J. Hilliard; his son, Douglas (Joan) Hilliard, of Butler; his daughter, Traci (Brian) Curry, of California; and his wonderful grandchildren, Cory Hilliard, Emily Hilliard, Levi Hilliard, Taylor Curry and Dylan Curry. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sandra Aldridge, of Florida; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his seven siblings.

HILLIARD — In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services for Alden E. “Bud” Hilliard, who died Saturday, April 11, 2026.
