Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy McCune.

Lucas Tovcimak-Savage, 30, of Millvale, was sentenced to serve 12 months to 48 months in state prison followed by 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a felony charge of contraband filed by Middlesex Township police after he was found with two glass pipes and two pieces of crack cocaine while he was being processed at county prison on Sept. 13.

Edward M. Aggers, 61, of Erie, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay $2,000 in fines and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to his second driving under the influence offense and a driving with a suspended license citation filed by Jackson Township police following a July 27, 2018, incident.

Clark J. Cook, 38, of Butler, was sentenced to serve nine months of probation in the county jail after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of harassment filed by Butler City police following a July 13, 2023, incident. He was going to be released from jail after having served 251 days on bail since his arrest, but he requested to serve his probation in jail.

Ronald D. Festa III, 32, of New Kensington, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation, complete 25 hours of community service and pay $562 in restitution to an individual and $81 to the Cranberry Township Police Department after pleading guilty to a charge of institutional vandalism filed by township police following a July 08, 2020, incident.

Raheem J. Sims, 25, of Erie, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, his second DUI offense, filed by state police following a Feb. 11, 2022, incident in Muddy Creek Township.

Keith A. Starr, 58, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in prison, pay a $1,000 fine and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by Penn Township police following an Aug. 28 incident.

Deborah E. Cooper, 48, of Cheswick, was given a 12 month probation sentence after pleading guilty to a statement under penalty charge filed by state police following a July 23, 2021, incident in Washington Township.

James E. Ehlinger, 30, of Monongahela, was sentenced to serve 12 months to 36 months in state prison and six months of probation after pleading guilty to a felony count of strangulation and misdemeanors harassment and disorderly conduct in three cases brought by Butler Township and Butler City police in 2020.

Shayna M. Whitehead, 30, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to charge of forgery and two counts of theft filed in two complaints by the attorney general’s office and Penn Township police following incidents in March 2021 and May 2023.

Christopher R. Cirell, 38, of Lyndora, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in prison, but was immediately paroled, pay a $1,000 fine and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by state police following a May 30, 2018, incident in Center Township.

Zaire S. Agrate, 21, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation including four months of house arrest after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct filed by Jackson Township police following a May 31 incident.
