Jim Vaskovsky

Vaskovsky

His story starts off simple — a young boy from Dent, Ohio, with a propeller cap and a horse named Danny. Born to Helen (Kaiser) and Frank Vaskovsky on July 6, 1946, Jim grew up hunting, fishing and spending time with his sister, Carol, and brother, Don. Jim worked as a capital accountant at Procter & Gamble in Ross, Ohio, before he retired in 1999. Jim Karl Vaskovsky, 75, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, April (Brett) Habig; his two wonderful grandchildren, Lynsey Habig and Maxwell (Tatum McMaster) Habig; his sister, Carol (Jerold) Newman; and his three beautiful nieces.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Frank Vaskovsky; his brother, Donald Vaskovsky; and former spouse, Carolyn Darling-Sullivan.

Jim was a loving father, adoring grandfather and the kindest man in the world. He always had funny one-liners, hilarious jokes and the best nicknames for everyone in his life — for example, his best buddy and granddog, Tony, is nicknamed “Toenails!” Jim will be truly missed.

VASKOVSKY The immediate family will hold a private celebration of life for Jim Karl Vaskovsky, who died Friday, May 20, 2022; however, if you wish to donate, please send it to Good Samaritan,146 Neely School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
