Margaret ‘Mickie’ Swall

Swall

Margaret “Mickie” J. Swall, 75, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from complications of emphysema.

Born on Jan. 29, 1949, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Josephine (Kubinski) Lipinski.

Mickie attended Community Business College at Northway Mall and was an efficiency expert, working in the steel and metallurgy industry. Among her many skills, she worked as a professional dog groomer, a professional quilter (winning many blue ribbons in quilt shows) and seamstress, and cross stitcher.

Mickie had an amazing green thumb and loved to garden, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, sudoku and cryptoquote games, was an avid reader, and could fix anything from plumbing to clocks. She excelled at everything she did. Her favorite food was peanut M&M’s. Above all, family meant everything to Mickie, and she was a caring, wonderful mom and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Mickie leaves behind her loving husband of 37 years, David M. Swall; her two children, Daniel Swall (Kendra) and Kathryn L. Swall (J.J. Madden); her three grandsons, Connor, Eli and Sebastian; and her sister, Lorraine Lipinski of Cleveland, Ohio.

SWALL — Private funeral arrangements for Margaret “Mickie” J. Swall, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, were entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
